- Good points. I’ve often wodnreed if there’s some group with a name like People for Ethics in Marketing or Association of Ethical Marketers . If not we should form one. The problem with that is that the reason some marketers use those tactics is because they work on a certain element of the population. While some of us started feeling insulted and jaded long ago, others still click the links, give up their info, and make purchases. Marketing doesn’t have to make sense to be effective. I grew up with typeface. My dad had a printing business, yes, the old kind!
So I do also like anything that has to do with type.
There was an interesting exhibition on this. You can read my post if you like.
about glancing at a book shelf and hanivg a relationship with that book. Not only the story, but where you read the story, where this book travelled with you, and where it came from. I don’t have those feelings when I look at my vast collection of books on my iPad. They are just pictures of book covers.December 16, 2011 2:18 pm
